Launched in 2024, Tron Books seeks to produce and distribute excellent Christian books that both equip and encourage church leaders and members.

Our hope is to publish a range of biblically-faithful, stimulating and timeless publications that will help those in the pulpit or pew to prosper in their Christian walk and service.

James Philip (1922-2009) was Minister of Holyrood Abbey Church, Edinburgh for four decades until 1997, having previously served the parish of Gardenstown, on Scotland’s Moray coast, since 1948. 

The warm glow we feel at Christmas is more than sentiment; it is because of the real message of Christmas – Immanuel, God with us. 

Christ’s coming is the epicentre of the Bible’s message: ‘When the fullness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son....’ It is the story of all Creation being renewed and coming to fulfilment through a man – The Man – Christ Jesus, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, of the Father’s love begotten.

Such is the real meaning of Christmas.
