What?

People of all ages, backgrounds and nationalities meet at 73 Claremont Street to listen to God’s word and to respond to him in praise and prayer. Our major focus is on reading, understanding and applying the Bible so that the whole church family can be ‘equipped for the work of ministry’ (Ephesians 4.12) so that we can serve and honour the Lord in our lives. We also meet at Tron Kelvingrove at 5pm for our main evening service.

As well as an exposition of the next section in the book of the Bible we’re studying, we sing Christian hymns and songs, we pray for our world, for Christian mission throughout the world and for the needs of our own church family. We are assisted in the singing of our praises to God by a small group of musicians.

Following the formal part of the morning and evening services we share tea, coffee and some light refreshments!

Where?

Close to Kelvingrove Park and the University of Glasgow, the building is the former home of the Royal Scottish National Orchestra. With its own car park, bus routes nearby and Exhibition Centre train station a 5 minute walk, it is easily accessible. 73 Claremont Street, G3 7JB.

Parking | On-street parking is free on a Sunday in the surrounding area. For those who require parking very close to the building we have some spaces in our car park which is situated at the back via the lane to the right of the building.

For children at the 10am service:

Creche

There is a crèche for babies and toddlers in the lower ground floor. Ask a steward when you arrive at church for help or directions.

Sunday School

Sunday school meets during the service. All children join in with the rest of the church family for the beginning of the service then head to their own groups (usually during the second hymn): Primary Sunday school (for 3 years to P3) and Junior Sunday school (for P4 to P7). Parents should collect their children at the end of the service. Stewards or regulars will point newcomers in the right direction so please just ask when you arrive.
